The Madala Foundation, inspired by the educational legacy of Attwell and Madala, celebrated the reopening of Attwell Madala High School in the Eastern Cape. To honour our commitment to education, the Foundation announced two new awards: the Attwell Madala Memorial Prize and the Samkezi Madala Family Trust Award.
The Attwell Madala Memorial Prize will be awarded annually to the top matric student at Attwell Madala High School. Meanwhile, the Samkezi Madala Family Trust Award will recognize the matric student with the most improvement throughout their high school years. These awards, more than financial aid, aim to support and inspire future leaders in their academic pursuits and are a testament to the Foundation’s belief in the transformative power of education.
